摘要

A new equation for predicting the bubble point formation volume factor of crude oils, from various provinces (worldwide) has been developed. The equation does not require the use of specific gravity of the gas that is associated with the crude oil. The specific gravity of the associated is needed by all current equations used for predicting the bubble point formation volume factor of crude oils A practical test of the new equation was performed on Nigeria crude oil, North Sea crude oil, California oil and other miscellaneous crude obtained from the data set of Glass O. The test shows that the new equation, can predict the bubble point formation volume factor of any crude that lies within the temperature range of 80 OF – 220 OF, and an absolute error range of 0 to 5 percent. Over 79 % of data tested, had an absolute error range, within, 0 - 3 percent?
