摘要

The present study has been carried out to analyze the gaskets heat transfer characteristics near the refrigerating gasket region of a domestic frost-free refrigerator/freezer. A 3D numerical model was developed to evaluate the gasket heat transfer load. Experiments were also conducted to validate the results predicted by simulations. The calculated temperatures showed acceptable agreement with the measured temperatures. The results show that the anti-sweat condenser tubes have a significant influence on the temperature contour in the operating status of compressor. The total thermal load of refrigerating gasket region is 5.14 /2.95 W, in the status of compressor on/off. Thermal load of cold-bridge accounts for 19.8%/20.6% of the total thermal load. Considering the effect of compressor on/off cycle times, total thermal load of refrigerating gasket is 4.49 W during an on-off cycling operation of compressor, accounting for 15.12% of the total thermal load in the fresh food cabinet. On the basis of the heat transfer analysis, certain modifications are suggested to improve the gaskets thermal load.
