摘要

The purpose of this paper is to present a theoretical damped oscillating mathematics relationship of segment spherical droplet on solid surface between the radius, volume, kinematic viscosity, density, surface tension coefficient and contact angle of the droplet. The theoretical equilibrium radii are compared with that of the numerical results. It has been shown that the theoretical equilibrium radii are larger than that of the numerical results. In addition, the theoretical model is used to study the effects of different shear stresses on the amplitude and cycle of droplet spreading radius. It can be found that the amplitude of spreading radius decreases with the increase of shear stresses. The decay speed of spreading velocity increases with the shear stress increasing.
