Abstract

The Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger (PCHE) is one of the most promising candidates for the ultra high temperature and high pressure energy systems, such as very high temperature reactors and supercritical carbon dioxide Brayton cycle. This extended abstract gives a summary for the development of PCHEs. The manufacture method, thermal-hydraulic performance and parametric study, structure development and thermal design methods of PCHEs are reviewed. It ends with the discussion of the further research direction of the PCHEs.
