要約

In this paper the interaction of a cold liquid slab with a hot substrate is discussed. With molecular dynamics simulation, we study the interaction of a water slab on the crystalline silicon wafer with (1 0 0) orientation. To avoid the infinite elevation of the water film, a homogeneous external gravity-like field was applied. This external field stabilizes the system and like this we achieve the formation of a stable vapor film, so the Leidenfrost effect is observed with means of molecular dynamics simulations. The comparison of the system behavior with and without the external gravity field is made. The molecular dynamics snapshots of the systems configuration are presented.
