Аннотация

Impingement jet cooling is one of convective cooling technique for high heat flux components such as electronic devices, gas turbines, etc. For the enhancement of impingement jet cooling performance, many researchers have been studied for the change of impingement jet stream and manipulation of target surface. Nowadays, micro-nano techniques for surface manipulation have been adopted for the enhancement of heat transfer, which has been reported on prominent cooling performance beyond the present limit. Therefore, it is needed to study on the heat transfer characteristics of single-phase liquid impingement jet on nanowire coated surface. In this study, we researched on the heat transfer characteristics of single-phase liquid impingement jet on nanowire surface. We conducted the submerged impingement jet experiment using deionized water. We used the integrated RTD sensor, which consisted of two sides; upper side was the target surface and back side were temperature measurement part and ITO heater. The results showed that heat transfer coefficient increased along with wall jet region. We thought that the pin-fin effect of the nanowire surface has positive effect for the heat transfer characteristics of submerged impingement jet. The results will be helpful for the impingement jet cooling techniques to overcome the heat transfer limits.
