Аннотация

We investigated an evaporation behavior of a water droplet on the nano-patterned transparent film fabricated by UV nanoimprint. In order to fabricate the nano-patterned substrate with a photo-polymer material, we employed ultra violet (UV) curable resin. In this case, a moth-eye anti-reflection structure on a glassy carbon substrate was used as a master mold. Furthermore, a nano-pattern obtained by a UV curable resin via nanoimprint was also used as a replica mold and we succeeded in fabrication of the second generation nano-patterned film. Using both obtained transparent films with the nano-pattern, we investigated the evaporation characteristics. As a result, the speed of evaporation on the nano-patterned films is accelerated, compared to substrates without the nano-pattern. Moreover, the nano-patterned surface has the lower reflectance ratio than the planar surface. The phenomenon shows that the optical characteristics of the replica mold can be maintained. We believe that the obtained transparent film can be a multi-functional film.
