摘要

In this study, CFD simulations of the liquid-solid two-phase flow in a LSCFB down-comer were carried to study the influence of restitution coefficient and specularity coefficient on the numerical results. The numerical results were compared with the experimental data. Thus, the correct values for these parameters can be used in order to increase the accuracy of the numerical prediction. It has been found that the specularity coefficient has a strong impact on the solid particle distribution near the wall. When this coefficient is high, the core-annulus structure is not even observed in certain zones. The restitution coefficient e=0.99 gives most accurate results. Overall, the solids volume fraction is more sensitive to the specularity coefficient than the restitution coefficient.
