WATER RECOVERY AS BYPRODUCT OF THE HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM
Abstract
Integration of water and energy savings attracts close attention of the engineers and researchers from all over
the world. Such integration requires new technological solutions to be implemented into industrial marketplace. For example, efficient heat recovery of humid exhausts relates to efficient condensation of water vapor component. Development of cost-effective equipment for "cooling-condensing" process is the main challenge of water vapor and waste heat recovery. Analysis of quantity and quality of recovered water and heat along with reuse options were carefully investigated. The original data have been obtained from the direct measurements and bakery process data collection. Obtained parameters served as a basis for
condensing heat exchanger design and smart modifications of the possible consumers of the recovered water and heat. The presentation outlines the integration concept and potential designs along with the supporting data and estimated benefits.
