Abstract

Available number of articles gives a sign that research on nanofluids has been increasing each year. The review paper focuses on the advances of nanofluid in thermophysical properties. Moreover, the data analysis study highlight how advances in thermophysical properties could be enhanced when volume concentration, nanomaterial size, surfactant and preparation method is applied. Based on the analysis nanofluids demonstrate better enhancement in thermophysical properties when compared to conventional fluids. It is further found that, presence of surfactants stabilizes the nanofluids and prevent particles from sinking. Therefore, Nanofluid is produced at the great quality. The contribution made by nanofluids in engineering can be regarded as an innovative technology with a primary solution in advancing the thermophysical properties of conventional fluids.
