要約

The optical property of Silicon nanoring arrays is investigated by finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulation. The effect of geometric parameters, such as the pitch (p), the outer diameter (D) and the inner diameter (d) of nanoring arrays with the thickness of 2 μm on light absorption is studied in detail. The optimized parameters (p=700nm, D=700nm, and d=385nm) which result in optimal integrated absorption are obtained. The optimal integrated absorption of Si nanoring arrays is 71.3% with a 76.0% enhancement as compared with that of the Si thin film with the same thickness. With appropriate parameters, the optical performance of nanoring arrays is superior to that of nanowire arrays. The effect of thickness on optical property of nanoring arrays is also simulated. Finally, a new nanostructure is proposed with the optical performance superior to that of the optimized nanoring arrays. Si nanoring arrays are potential for photovoltaic and photothermal applications with the absorption enhancement compared to the thin film.
