要約

In this paper, heat transfer models with and without longitudinal heat conduction (LHC) are applied to investigate the effects of longitudinal heat conduction in a cross-wavy (CW) primary surface heat exchanger. Numerical simulation results show that the contribution of longitudinal heat conduction increases with the decrease of the ratio of longitudinal Biot number to transverse Biot number. Differences between heat flux distribution of heat transfer models with and without longitudinal heat conduction reflect the strength of longitudinal heat conduction. The contribution of longitudinal heat conduction increases with the increase of the strength of longitudinal heat conduction and decreases with the increase of the negative heat flux area in heat transfer model with longitudinal heat conduction.
