Low Temperature Synthesis of SnO2 Semiconductor Nanoparticles: Factors Determining the Characteristics of Produced SnO2
Аннотация
There has been extensive research on the synthesis of SnO2 semiconductor nanoparticles along with its effects on electron transport properties in photovoltaics, such as Perovskite solar cells. The purpose of this research is
to design an effective method of novel low-temperature synthesis creating SnO2 semiconductor nanoparticles
and recognizing their characteristics. Each tested method consisted of different mass ratios of ultrapure water, sodium carbonate, and tin (II) chloride. SnO2 precursors were synthesized at near room temperature using multiple conditions. They were sampled once adequate particle growth was recognized. The combined process of centrifuging and freeze-drying was carried out to extract the solid material. X-ray diffraction of the samples revealed that the obtained powders were SnO2 and their nanostructures were characterized by TEM.
